We still have not been provided with the final schemas for this (or any way to test this) you seriously can’t expect that software vendors can be ready to read and use these dates by the 23rd October - 5 working days and no published final schema!
How long will the timepoint where these dates start being published be available for? We need a commitment from Companies House on this for these new dates.
Once these are no longer obtainable on the stream they are only retrievable on the REST APIs which have a tiny call limit.
When on the 23rd can we expect to start receiving the dates on the stream? If you can’t give a time it would be useful to know if it is intended to be in the middle of the night, or in usual working hours?
You’re welcome.
23rd October will be the earliest we can start streaming the dates but this could slip depending on the progress of final in-flight development & testing. The intention is to feed the events in to the normal flow of messages without impacting the live public services or our own internal processes, therefore we will need to ‘monitor’ performance and ‘react’ accordingly. As such it is difficult to predict when the events will be streamed e.g. we may chose not to stream during the night or at the weekend etc. but that is by no means a given.
For information his exercise will generate approximately 8.7 million officer and 6.1 million persons with significant control stream events.
We need to check things once it starts, so is it possible to give us a little notice of when we should see the first dates on the stream, i.e. just post here an hour or two before they should start coming through?
