Viewing and Updating in a third party CRM

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to view and update information streamed from companies house in a crm software called “Salesforce”.

I currently have an app installed in salesforce called “reg.direct”. This allows me to view my clients info from companies house but not directly edit the information in salesforce.

To edit the info I will need to go into companies house website and edit there.

I want to be able to open salesforce, go to a clients account, view info which is being pulled from companies house and then modify the info which will update company house all from salesforce.

Guidance would be hugely appreciated.

The API doesn’t allow for data change at the moment. We are planning to allow changes to data to be made through the API in the future, but have no timescales as to when it will be released.

Once the API functionality is available then I assume that 3rd party apps could be developed, in the same way as the “reg.direct” app, for Salesforce to provide the functionality as described.
