Resolution issues in filingHistoryList

A lot of the time when multiple resolutions are filed in a single day they are all contained within a single document. In CHD these show as the folder, with a second indented document attached and a single checkbox for both items.

However in many case the API returns this infomation as two completely distinct entries with the second one showing no available document.

In the beta search this can be interperated as there being no PDF link, or even with the “Call us to order this document” message, even though the document is available, it’s just attached to another item.

A couple of examples…

The written resolution on 5/7/99 that has the unavailable message is actually included in the previous item.

The two elective resolution on 10/10/03 are both included in the first linked PDF

In both of these cases Companies House Direct is aware that the two items share a single document and display them accordingly in the listing.

We are aware of this issue and are debating the best way to resolve the issues and the most appropriate way to present the data through the API as these are technically separate filings but are often included on the same sheet of paper.

Would we be able to have an update on this? It’s clear significant changes have been made to the way resolutions are grouped and the information returned by the API, but there hasn’t been anything posted on the forum about it that I’m aware of and the documentation hasn’t been updated.
