Hi, As part of an upgrade to the rates system for Northern Ireland I need to increase the CH API rate limit please?
The primary requirement here is to protect the Online Self Service Portal, which is customer‑facing, and to minimise any risk of customer impact. We have a separate part of the system that also integrates with the CH API and it processes larger data volumes.
Increasing the API rate limit would help mitigate this risk and allow our separate function to continue without contention and reducing the likelihood of any indirect impact.
The most we are able to offer is a doubling of the current API rate (due to the popularity of the service concerned).
However, we can only offer that in certain situations.
