How long does it take to get the bulk data products?

I am not sure it is the right place to ask my question. Also, don’t get me wrong I am not complaining. I just want to understand how to plan development on our side (… and questions here usually get answered, so I try my luck :))

We were put in contact with the bulk data manager from Companies House, to get access to the bulk products and daily updates. It has already been 2 weeks since our request (and kindly reminder in between) but we haven’t received anything: neither the bulk data nor the confirmation that it was sent. This makes it difficult to plan development on our side.

So, my question is how can we know when to expect the data? Whom to ask? Is there estimation of how much time it usually takes to process requests like ours? Also for the future in case we ask for another data product, how much time shall we plan for getting the data?

What I wanted to understand was if you could give us some estimation. For example,

  • to prepare and ship a DVD with appointments data, it usually takes up to 3 weeks
  • to set up access to an FTP server with daily updates, it usually takes up to 2 weeks.

Something like this.
