Prod 192, 183 download locations

Hello to all.
So I have been pestering bulk products email and they tell me to use the API forum to get what I need answering.

They list all the products
Prod 100, 101, 183, 192, 195, 197, 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 216, 223, and 217

I have Prod 100 and 195

They are ordering 199 and 200 for me

But for the life of me I cannot find out where to get 192 and 216.

I cannot find links, a page, any help.

Does anyone know where I get these links from or ftp access or whatever I need to do to get the data files.

I already have the stream service running to keep the data up to date but I need to adequately fill the data from large files as requested.

Hi Brian
Thanks. I have seen one of those before which is how we parsed the data from the officers bulk data and it was very helpful.

This page List of bulk data products | CH Guide shows us what we want but it appears that the free bits are to be downloaded from an ftp server.
Upon checking the forum it appears the ftp was closed down in 2024.
So where do we go?
Do we have to make a request every time we want the data.
I am sending an email this minuted asking for weekly access to Prod 192, 202 and 203.

I have just received another email from bulk data products stating that I have been advised the data is on the companies house gateway.

Can ANYONE please specify the exact fully qualified domain name and path to products 202 and 203.

Bulk data just dont get it. The page I am starting from is Companies House data products - GOV.UK which gives me 3 of the files I want.

I dont understand why I cannot get a straight answer.

No FTP so those instructions are wrong. Told to go to the gateway but not where the gateway is.

Someone must have a clear answer to this.

Please help.

Just spoken to a lovely lady called Paula at companies house who appears to have filled in the blanks as it were.
I am missing some vital information which is being sent to me.
Once I have it this problem should go away.
I will update accordingly plus how we dealt with the connection.
Part of the issue stems from no username, password and domain link.
Also we use Linux and and therefore no WinSCP but once we get user details we will connect using the Linux built in tools.

You seem to be on the right track.

The bulk gateway domain is bulk-live.companieshouse.gov.uk.
I suggest using SFTP to copy files from it once you’ve got access credentials.
