We have found 481 officer appointments whose verification date, identity_verified_on, is before the official date, i.e. 2025-04-01. This is data collected the data from the streaming api, officers and psc endpoints specifically.
Here’s are some extreme yet real examples:
Ceris Mary GARDNER personal appointments - Find and update company information - GOV.UK => verified on 13 September 1953.
Karon Rosemary JEFFERSON personal appointments - Find and update company information - GOV.UK => verified on 19 November 1954.
These don’t make sense to us: it seems that some basic validation is missing. Are they going to get corrected?
The same happens for PSCs: we see 61 occurrences of it as of today.
