Next due date(Filing Date) API Search

I would like to inquire if it is possible to access the search API using the filing date as a direct query parameter. Kindly let us know if this functionality is supported.

I’m just another user of the API and not from Companies House but … I am not aware of this.

From the title you have given your post - do mean you want to search for companies by the accounts.next_due date ? Or the confirmation_statement.next_due date? (Or indeed something else?)

The documentation for Companies Search and Advanced Search don’t have this. There are some undocumented features I believe (search this forum) but I don’t recall this being one.

I can’t give you a URL - because as far as I know no such feature exists. That’s what I thought I had said in my previous comment?

There is another way of achieving your goal which is by searching the Companies Bulk data set. The drawback is that this is “offline” with data only updated once per month and it’s obviously a very large data set. However you can download it for free (note: these are very large csv files) and process and search it. I believe there is an Accounts.NextDueDate field listed there. For more information see e.g. the unofficial guide here.

You could also see if there is a 3rd party (maybe commercial) product available which can provide what you need.

Other than that you could try one of the following but I suspect these won’t be much help:

a) Try searching this forum (using the “magnifying glass” icon) to see if you can find some notes on this.

b) Ask Companies House to add this functionality.
