There was a recent post about new fields that will be added to the officers/PSC API for the ECCT act identity checking changes.
Can you provide a bit more info on the fields
“identity_verification_details. appointment_verification_end_on”
“identity_verification_details. appointment_verification_start_on”
the descriptions for those don’t make much sense to me.
Are these fields so that we can tell if an officer / PSC has completed their ‘verification’ (i.e. sent their Companies House personal code to Companies House as part of a confirmation statement or PSC verification)?
Hi Simon, those descriptions are the descriptions i’m querying as they are not really saying what those fields are in any helpful way.
Will appointment_verification_start_on be NULL when the director/PSC hasn’t sent their verification statement to Companies House and then populated with the date Companies House accepted that persons verification statement?
If so, what is the appointment_verification_end_on field? - can verifications statements be removed for directors/PSCs - if this happens, how do they get verified again?
We will send a date in appointment_verification_start_on when we get the verification details, I will need to check on whefther it will be NULL or empty before we get that date. It is an optional field i think.
Verification statements can be revoked which is why we have the appointment_verification_end date, again I would need to check with somebody else here on how you re-verify.
