Hi, when is the API due to finish beta and when is the stable version due to be released?

We hope to finish the first tranche of search functionality towards the middle of this calendar year - currently working on functionality to allow people to ‘follow’ particular companies and be notified of changes; details of overseas companies; and improved search functionality (including the ability to search for dissolved companies or by previous names).
We will then look to transition from beta to live.
That will not mark the end of service development though as we will be continually iterating the service, both to improve existing functionality and add additional search and filing functionality, over the remainder of this year and into the next.

On transition to live, can we expect that the XMLGateway service will be shutdown ?
The XML Gateway service provides filing functionality as well as search functionality so will not be turned off when we first transition to live. Eventually it will be replaced in its entirety by CHS but that is some way off and we will give customers plenty of notice.
We would, of course, encourage customers to use the CHS service for output in the meantime.
