SFTP Connectivity Details for Production Environments (PROD 195 / PROD 198)

We’ve been directed here by Companies House support regarding a query on SFTP connectivity to Companies House production environments.

We are setting up an automated SFTP integration and need confirmation of connection details for the following environments:

  • PROD 195

  • PROD 198

Could someone please confirm:

  1. SFTP hostnames for PROD 195 and PROD 198

  2. Any IP addresses or IP ranges that should be allow‑listed for outbound connectivity

  3. Confirmation that SFTP over port 22 using SSH key‑based authentication is the correct and supported connection method

  4. Whether there are any additional onboarding steps (e.g. SSH public key exchange, user provisioning) required before access is enabled

Context:

  • Client tools: WinSCP / PuTTY

  • Authentication: SSH key‑based

  • We are not looking for Bulk Data Products or the Bulk Cloud Gateway unless PROD 195 / PROD 198 are accessed exclusively via those services — if so, please confirm this explicitly.
