The only route for API issues is this forum.
Essential maintenance periods are posted in advance as soon in advance as possible.
There are no SLAs, as this service is free of charge to use and obtain data / information from.

@steph just a word of warning about relying on the reporting of availability standards in that annual report.
Digital service availability
Digital services are available for a minimum of 99.5% of the time.
100% Target met and exceeded
However, I’ve had confirmation from companies house that they do NOT include 502 and 503 errors in the reported availability statistics. So they report 100% service availability regardless of any 5xx errors.
