Hi,
I am now writing a thesis at Imperial College on distressed companies in the UK (CVA, CVL…)
I am looking for a technique to retrieve asset and liability figures for a set of companies from the Companies House website.
The public APIs provide a lot of non-financial information, but no accounting data from what I understand.
Is there a way to query the site to retrieve the latest filings figures
Many thanks for your advice,
Tony

Companies are required to file accounts on a annual basis, which will contain financial information. Accounts filed electronically are available in XBRL/iXBRL format with a scanned PDF image available for those filing on paper.
The accounts data can be downloaded through the filing history API, with documentation as follows:
Alternatively, bulk downloads of XBRL accounts are available: Companies House
Hope this helps
Thanks,

Hi,
I’ve looked through several pdf documents from filing history in categories annual-return and capital, but couldn’t find balance reports.
I need at least cash flows volume, assets and liabilities of the company.
Which category of documents should search to get this information?
