Production IP appears to be blocked from accessing the Companies House API

Hello Companies House Support,

We (https://anna.money/) are experiencing an issue accessing the Companies House REST API from our production environment.

Our observations are:

  • Requests from our production environment consistently receive HTTP 403 responses.

  • The same requests, using the same API key, succeed from a developer machine.

  • We have not made any significant changes to our request patterns or traffic volume.

  • Our client respects rate limiting and Retry-After headers, and we are not aware of any excessive request activity.

This leads us to believe that our production egress IP address(es) may have been blocked or otherwise restricted.

Could you please investigate whether our IP(s) or API key have been blocked, and if so, advise on the reason and what we need to do to restore access?

We can provide the following information:
