Please remove leading space character from Company Data Product

The monthly file of Company Data has annoying space characters at the beginning of ‘some’ fieldnames. Please can they be removed?
Examples are:
" Companynumber",
" RegAddress.AddressLine2",
" PreviousName_x.CompanyName",
" ConfStmtLastMadeUpDate"

Hi, I’m just wondering how this is progressing?
There are 55 fields in the CSV file and 14 field names have a leading space character.
It would be really useful if they could be removed.

Hi Robert,

We have discussed this internally.

We feel that as a large number of users already regularly download this product and have probably made allowances for this in their processes / applications, changing the format might negatively effect these users and create loads of contact.

As such, unless other users suggest this is an issue for them, which they have not to date, we are minded to leave it as it is.

I appreciate this will come as a disappointing response however.

I totally understand and thank you for getting back.
We also make allowances for the leading spaces, but are willing to make changes just to make the coding consistent going forward.
