[OfficerSearch] Request Inconsistency between XML API and REST API

For OfficerSearch in XML Gateway request, we currently have provision to query search results based on :

  1. OfficerName
  2. IncludeResignedIndicator
  3. OfficerType

But in the new REST API, we can only search by providing name and can’t provide additional request params like resigned indicator and officer type. Will such provision be made in future ? (or) we can only search by name.

Yes, we will be looking to add additional search criteria, the first of which is likely to be the ability to add address elements into the search. We have also considered date of birth and other potential search criteria for later inclusion so are interested in your views as to what search criteria would be of most use.

We hope to release disqualified officer data and functionality towards the end of January and that will include some search improvements that we’d then look to incorporate into the existing director search.
