I’ve built a tool called Risks to British Business for visualising external risks mentioned within filings included in the Companies House daily bulk data releases. It may be of interest to some in this forum.
We process the files daily to identify and map risks across seven distinct pillars:
- Natural Capital
- Human Capital
- Climate
- Illicit Activity
- Conflict
- Labour
- Political/Regulatory
- Trade
The goal is to provide a geospatial view of where these risks are emerging in the UK corporate landscape. You can view the past week’s data on our map (free registration required for full access to company names and their annual report links).
We are looking to refine the tool and would welcome any feedback on how it could be more useful as we think about features we might roll out next, like a newsletter subscription service.
