I’m looking to access the charges bulk data product and wanted to check if anyone has successfully requested this and can share their experience.

I’m building an automation tool for commercial finance brokers that monitors UK company financing arrangements and flags debentures that may be approaching renewal. The use case requires historical charges data across all UK companies — querying charges per company via the REST API isn’t viable at scale.

I’ve read that charges bulk data is available on request but isn’t part of the standard publicly available downloads. A few questions:

  1. Is this still available and how do I formally request it?
  2. What format is the data provided in and how large is the file?
  3. How frequently is it updated and how are updates delivered?
  4. Is there any cost associated with accessing it?

I’ve already raised a request via the general enquiries email but wanted to check here in case anyone has been through this process recently.
