How or who do we contact to put a halt to the new beta Companies House service implementing 2 step verification??
This will cripple SMEs and their accountants! Companies need a wide range of access, not just 1 individual, unlike self assessment returns…
Please advise how we an lobby - we will love you forever

What 2 step verification are you referring to?
When you register for the service we do send you an email with a link to click on to verify your email address.
Is that what you are referring to?

No the 2 step phone authentication which is due to become mandatory when logging in to the below portal: https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/gg/sign-in
No SME business owner uses this portal, or expects anyone other than their accountant to use it…
