The specification in Company Snapshot and Update Specification is unclear on 4.4.1. The spec is not explicit on what to change in the case that CORRECTION-INDICATOR is set to space. It says “(i) Any change of Name will normally trigger an incrementation of Person Number, so the criteria stated at 4.4 do not apply. See 4.5 below instead.” but what does that mean? 4.5 has different criteria, so what relevance does it have exactly?
Then it goes on “(ii) As mentioned in 4.1 Service Address details are now appointment specific, as is Occupation. Therefore all the New Address elements (including NEW-PERSON-POSTCODE), along with Occupation and CHANGE-DATE should be applied to this one appointment only.” Could you clarify what fields are “New Address elements”, other than NEW-PERSON-POSTCODE?
