Hello,
I have been referred to this forum by Companies House customer support regarding a Google indexing issue affecting the main company overview page for HAUTE MAISON LIMITED (company number 15490017).
The affected URL is:
The page is live and accessible normally through Companies House. However, the main company overview URL is currently not appearing in Google search results at all, including when searching for the exact URL, company name and company number.
The page previously appeared in Google and now appears to have dropped out of Google’s index. Other Companies House pages relating to the same company remain discoverable through Google, so the issue appears to be specific to the main company overview URL.
We have also approached Google, but because the affected URL is on the Companies House domain, we are unable to inspect its indexing status or request reindexing through Google Search Console ourselves.
Would the technical team please be able to check this specific URL in the Companies House Google Search Console property and confirm:
- whether Google currently considers the URL indexed;
- whether URL Inspection reports any crawl or indexing issue;
- what canonical URL Google has selected for the page;
- whether there is any noindex, robots, sitemap, redirect or canonicalisation issue affecting it; and
- if there is no technical restriction, whether the URL can please be submitted through URL Inspection → Request Indexing for a fresh crawl.
This is an urgent issue because the absence of the official Companies House result is affecting third parties’ ability to locate and verify the company through Google.
As this is the principal Companies House record for the company, I would be very grateful if the technical team could investigate why this particular URL has dropped out of Google and assist with having it recrawled and reindexed.
Thank you.
