I wanted to query the possibility of setting up a non personal account for use with the API ?
We are going to be using it as part of our data ingestion process and wanted to know if there was a way of setting up an account that wasn’t personal i.e. isnt attached to a humans mobile phone or authenticator as if this person was to leave the business then we wouldn’t be able to gain access to the system.
Simple, buy a sim only deal from a firm like giffgaff. Put it in any old phone and leave that on the office desk. Change the “authentication phone number” to the new sim. Only costs a few £’s a year to keep it active.
