been poking around the company profile endpoint and noticed the psc-related link in the links object changes name depending on the company. sometimes it’s persons\_with\_significant\_control\_statement, sometimes persons\_with\_significant\_control\_statements (plural, no idea why), sometimes just persons\_with\_significant\_control, and on plcs / dissolved companies it’s just not there at all.

not seeing this documented anywhere and it’ll quietly break anything that hardcodes one version of that key.

ended up building a little validation layer on top of the api that catches this kind of thing instead of letting it fail silently. if anyone else has run into similar weirdness (account fields, dates, whatever) would be curious to compare notes — feel free to reply or DM.

[persons\_with\_significant\_control\_statement] isn’t part of the documented schema, as you say. Do you have the ID of the record that produces it?

[Here CH (Mark Williams) clarifies the distinction between persons\_with\_significant\_control and persons\_with\_significant\_control\_statements](https://forum.companieshouse.gov.uk/t/psc-not-giving-a-response/6351)
