There was a recent post about new fields that will be added to the officers/PSC API for the ECCT act identity checking changes.

Can you provide a bit more info on the fields
“identity\_verification\_details. appointment\_verification\_end\_on”
“identity\_verification\_details. appointment\_verification\_start\_on”

the descriptions for those don’t make much sense to me.

Are these fields so that we can tell if an officer / PSC has completed their ‘verification’ (i.e. sent their Companies House personal code to Companies House as part of a confirmation statement or PSC verification)?

Hi, yes it’s to do with the verification notification dates:

Hi Simon, those descriptions are the descriptions i’m querying as they are not really saying what those fields are in any helpful way.

Will appointment\_verification\_start\_on be NULL when the director/PSC hasn’t sent their verification statement to Companies House and then populated with the date Companies House accepted that persons verification statement?

If so, what is the appointment\_verification\_end\_on field? - can verifications statements be removed for directors/PSCs - if this happens, how do they get verified again?

Hi,

We will send a date in appointment\_verification\_start\_on when we get the verification details, I will need to check on whefther it will be NULL or empty before we get that date. It is an optional field i think.

Verification statements can be revoked which is why we have the appointment\_verification\_end date, again I would need to check with somebody else here on how you re-verify.

An Identity can be Cancelled or Deleted under the following circumstances (not exhaustive):

• Duplicate Identity Created - Registrar can Delete the additional Id’s to ensure only One Id per individual.
• Reverification - If the registrar requires someone to reverify their ID and they don’t do it within 14 days the Registrar can cancel the original UID.

Thanks Simon, the first answer is exactly what we need to continue.
