# Download.companieshouse.gov.uk expired SSL certificate

Hi, I thought I’d mention that the SSL certificate for [https://download.companieshouse.gov.uk](https://download.companieshouse.gov.uk) expired on the 16th of October, which means it’s not possible to download the free company data product over HTTPS.

curl [https://download.companieshouse.gov.uk/BasicCompanyDataAsOneFile-2022-10-12.zip](https://download.companieshouse.gov.uk/BasicCompanyDataAsOneFile-2022-10-12.zip) -o data.zip

If possible, it’d be good if you could get this renewed as I’d like to avoid downloading over HTTP if I can avoid it.
